Stalker (stylized S.T.A.L.K.E.R.) is a video game series produced by the Ukrainian company GSC Game World, set in the exclusion zone around chernobyl and inspired by the 1979 Soviet movie Stalker (1979). The first 3 games in the series (Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, Call of Pripyat) were released within 1 year of each other and are often discussed as a single extended game. The first true sequel stalker 2: heart of chornobyl released on November 20th, 2024, 15 years after Call of Pripyat.
