A type of prayer beads with a cross attached to the bottom. It is used as the part of a meditation ritual where the user praying to jesus and the Virgin Mary. The standard Catholic rosary consists of 59 beads in total that consists of 53 smaller "Hail Mary" beads organized into five decades, and 6 larger "Our Father" beads. It is also used by Anglicans (28 beads, 4 larger cruciform beads plus 1 above the cross) and minority of Lutherans.
