A race of humanoids from Bleach who have the ability to detect hollow_(bleach) and other spiritual presences as well as capable of manipulating their soul as a weapon. Due to persecution, they have become increasingly rare in modern times and early on in the manga it was believed that Ishida Uryuu and his father may be the last of them.
