The FN SCAR (Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) is a family of gas-operated short-stroke gas piston rifles developed by FN Herstal in 2004. There are two major variants, the fn scar 16 (light) assault rifle and the fn scar 17 (heavy) battle rifle. The weapon is quite recognizable by its ugg boot-shaped adjustable folded stock.
