A bass guitar first released by fender_musical_instruments_corporation in 1960. It is one of the most popular bass guitars alongside its older sibling - the Fender Precision Bass, originally released as a bass counterpart to the Fender Jazzmaster, featuring a focus on brighter sounds as opposed to its older sibling. It often is called "J Bass".
