The Error Musume are a groups of characters, drawn by Kantai Collection artist Fujikawa, that are presented on the screen whenever an 'error connection' screen is shown for "various reasons":http://kancolle.wikia.com/wiki/Tutorial:_FAQ#I_keep_getting_an_error_message_with_a_girl_and_a_cat.21. All of the Error Musume are not named in the proper sense; they are named based on their visual descriptions, such as girl holding a cat (kancolle), girl behind a cat (kancolle), kneeling girl (kancolle), and girl beaten by a cat (kancolle).
