Bubble tea (also known as "pearl milk tea", "tapioca tea", "boba tea", or simply "boba") is a type of tea-based drink invented in Taiwan. It consists of a mixture of tea, milk, or other flavorings, plus small black tapioca balls ("boba") that float at the bottom of the drink. The drink usually comes with an extra-large drinking_straw, used to suck up and chew the tapioca balls.
