Áo Nhật Bình is a royal attire of the Nguyen dynasty from 1807 during the Gia Long era until the end of the "Nguyen dynasty":https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nguy%E1%BB%85n_dynasty. The common design often include the rectangle-shaped collar in front of the wearer which was why it was being called as Nhật Bình.
